OMNILAB group infected by IT virus

Ransomware denies access to our systems - But your and our data are safe!

Dear customers,

as if the corona virus wasn't enough, our systems have unfortunately been infected by a digital virus. As a precautionary measure, we have taken our computers and telephones off line today to reset the systems, so that we will probably be fully electronically available for you again from the day after tomorrow.

Data security of your data: The virus is ransomware, which encrypts files so that you cannot work with them. Important: No data will be stolen or misused in any other form. Your customer data as well as our external documents (e.g. attachments in e-mails like invoices) are therefore safe.

As soon as our systems are running again, we will process your inquiries and orders as quickly as possible. Should there be any delays here, we hope for your understanding. Please send your orders and inquiries as usual to the known contacts.

This case shows once again how important the topic of cyber security is, but also that despite staff training and strong security measures, one is never safe from cyber attacks. A good contact point for further information is the Federal Office for Security in Communication Technology.

On behalf of the entire team, we would like to apologize for the circumstances and hope that we will be fully operational again shortly.
